A talented musician who writes, sings, plays and produces his own music, Alex has drawn inspiration from experiences of life, love, loss and the pursuit of happiness.
He turned to music, teaching himself to play the guitar and turning his emotions into heartfelt songs that have proven to be almost therapeutic to him.
More than anything, music has helped him release his pain and put closure to difficult times in his life.
Alex’s love of music began in his native Argentina when at the age of six he began to spend time with his cousin in the studio, learning about the equipment and technology, which turned into a lifelong passion. His professional music career finally became a reality when he arrived in New York in 2001 and landed his “dream job” as an intern at Unique Recording Studios.
At Unique, he focused on expanding his music expertise and audio engineering skills, which eventually led to his promotion to audio engineer.
In 2005 Alex established Oasys Studios, after the changing environment of the music industry inspired him to take his production experience and creativity to the next level. Alex dedicated himself to providing a “home” for developing artists to rehearse and record their music.
At the age of 28, Alex has decided to further explore his love and talent for songwriting. Although he began writing his first songs at a young age, he feels that now is the right time to put his full heart and soul into his own music. He has written a collection of English and Spanish alternative pop/rock songs that he is ready to share with the world. With sentimental titles like “Desde Que Te Fuistes”, “If I Ever See You Again”, “No Se Por Qué”, “Only God Knows Why” and “Hoy”, his songs are genuinely autobiographical and reflect his reactions to the world and people around him. They express themes of love with real life experiences, mistakes and regrets from past relationships and dealing with loss.
To Alex, his songs ultimately represent a closure to the past and the beginning of a new life chapter. Future songs, he says, “will contain his zest for life, new relationships and love, new found confidence and happiness.” His words of wisdom - “have faith in God and believe in yourself despite what happens”- reflect his changed attitude on life and its challenges.
Alex’s music is the most sincere and honest expression of a sentimental mind and soul, that gives the listener a glimpse of the person within. His sound, comparable to the likes of Eros Ramazotti and Enrique Iglesias, projects a certain vulnerability and has a natural cross-cultural appeal with commercial potential. This talented singer/songwriter, whose strength lies in writing romantic English/Spanish ballads, that are sung wholeheartedly with a sensuous voice, poetic lyrics and moving melodies, will connect well with sentimental listeners and romantics around the globe.
